Matthew Doore, MD

Dr. Doore is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa where he received undergraduate degrees in both Biochemistry and Business Management. Heading to Houston, Texas, he received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry. Gaining vast experience in treatment and management of ocular diseases and pre- and post-operative care during his rotation at Thomas E. Creek VA Hospital in Amarillo, Texas, experience working doing laser procedures at Vision Center in Ruston, Louisiana, and a robust experience treating advanced dry eye cases at the Dry Eye Center at the University Eye Institute in Houston, Texas, he is ready to help with any ocular problems that may occur.

Dr. Doore has spent several years in private practice in Iowa practicing general optometry and treating dry eye and fitting specialty lenses followed by working serving remote communities in the state of Alaska before finding his home here at Whitson Vision. Here, he is excited to help provide the best possible care for the people of Indianapolis.
